Troubleshooting
Some problems you may encounter when using your TekBright monitor are
relatively easy to identify and solve. Before sending your TekBright monitor
for servicing, please check the troubleshooting list below to see if you are
able to diagnose and remedy the problem.
(VGA Mode)

Remedy
No Picture
LED ON
• Using OSD, adjust brightness and contrast
to maximum or reset to their default settings.
LED OFF
• Check the monitor’s power switch.
• Verify that the AC power cord is properly
connected to the monitor.
LED displays
amber color
• Make sure the video signal cable is
properly connected at the back of monitor.
• Make sure the computer system’s power
is ON.
Abnormal
Picture
Unstable Picture
• Verify that the specification of graphics
adapter and monitor are in compliance. If
they are not in compliance, it may cause an
input signal frequency mismatch.
Display is
missing, center
shift, too small or
too large in
display size
• Using OSD, adjust Resolution, Clock,
Clock-Phase, Horizontal Position and
Vertical Position with non-standard
signals.
• If the full-screen image is missing, use
OSD to select other resolution or other
vertical refresh timing.
• Wait for a few seconds after adjusting the
size of the image before changing or
disconnecting the signal cable or turning
OFF the monitor.
Abnormal
Sound
No sound, or
sound level is too
low
• Verify that the audio cable is connected to
both the monitor and the host PC.
• Check to see if the volume setup of the
host PC is in the minimum position and try
to raise the volume level.
