Hose Connecting
Be sure to fix the center of the hose
to the air conditioner cabinet with the fixture band
to install
a drain trap. (Water leakage may occur without this inclination.)
REQUIREMENT
• Connect the elbow
, drain pipe
, and the socket
to the drain port of the air conditioner. Use
adhesive for vinyl chloride to connect pipes.
• Install the elbow
5 degrees downward by tightening the socket
to torque of 60 to 100 Nm to
provide an inclination for the hose for draining.
• Connect the socket
to the Drain pump unit inlet pipe with the hose
, and tighten both ends of the
hose with the hose bands
. Insert the hose
into the joint by approx. 25 mm.
• Insulate the vinyl chloride joint and the hose at the Drain pump unit connection portion with the heat
insulation for pipe
and heat insulation for elbow
.
Ensure heat insulation by taping at the insulator joint areas.
• Secure the fixture plate
to the attachment plate
with the tapping screw
.
(Be sure to install this fixture plate
as this is for ensuring an angle of 5 degrees.)
Be careful not to damage the Drain pump kit hose during handling before extending it because it
passes under the unit.
