When the dialog box closes the installation is complete, continue the installation procedure.

SoftIPT installation
•
Download the SoftIPT 2.2 application from the Toshiba FYI website.
•
Double click on SoftIPT-PCInstaller.exe. The SoftIPT - InstallShield Wizard runs.

Click Finish to exit the Wizard.

In the SoftIPT Configuration window, enter the following:
•
SoftIPT extension - SoftIPT Directory Number
•
Password - IP User Mobility password
•
Node - ID of the node where the SoftIPT is registered
•
Outgoing prefix - The outgoing CO-Line access code
•
Long distance prefix - When you call using the SoftIPT directory, SoftIPT automatically attaches
this outgoing prefix for local calls and this long distance prefix for long-distance calls, respectively.

IP address of IPU - Enter the IP address of the IPU and/or select Broadcast. When an IP address
is enter the SoftIPT tries to connect to the IPU using the Primary IPU IP address, if that fails it tries
the Secondary IPU IP address (if entered).
If broadcast is selected, the SoftIPT tries to search for the IPU by sending broadcast message. If a
Primary IP Address was entered and the broadcast fails to find the IPU, the SoftIPT will attempt to
connect to the Primary IP Address or Secondary if entered. In either case, if the SoftIPT
successfully connects to the IPU, the IPU IP address is shown at “Connected IPU IP Address”
area. See your System Administrator for IPU address.
The broadcast message is generally sent on the same subnet, which means the SoftIPT can
connect to the IPU on the same subnet using Broadcast mode without designating an IPU IP
address. However, in some PC environments, the SoftIPT cannot complete this broadcast
registration sequence because some network devices prevent broadcast messages. Toshiba
recommends using Manual mode if the SoftIPT cannot find the IPU by broadcast.

If there are multiple network adapters, select the one for SoftIPT.

Automatic startup (the automatic startup of SoftIPT after starting up your PC)
•
Popup window (the popup window function after receiving a call).
