Unpacking
As you unpack the projector, check to make sure that all of the items listed below are present.
The CD-ROM that comes with the projector has a PDF file “User’s Guide” that contains detailed
explanations about projector operations. In order to read the User’s Guide, you need to have Adobe
®
Reader
®
installed on your computer.
To read the User’s Guide contents
1.
Place the bundled CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
2.
Navigate to the CD-ROM, and open the “User’s Guide” folder.
3.
Double-click “UsersGuideOperations_Multi.pdf” or “UsersGuideSettings_Multi.pdf”.

This starts up Adobe Reader and displays the contents of the manual whose icon you clicked.
z
On some systems, the “.pdf” extension may not appear at the end of the file name.
Safety Instructions
In order to avoid malfunction or damage of the product, please carefully follow the precautions listed
below. For more detailed information on the safety precautions, please refer to the chapter “Safety
Precautions” in the User’s Guide (Operations).

Be sure to keep separate written records of all data stored in projector memory, as Toshiba is not
responsible for data corruption or data loss. Toshiba will not cover any data recovery cost.

Do not
• Look into the lens or vents while light source unit is on
• open the enclosure
• disassemble the product or parts of it
• place liquids near or on the product, as it may damage the product, cause personal injury or may
result in an electrical shock or fire
• bump, drop or jar the product
• Block the vents
• use other AC/DC adaptors than the one bundled with your device, as otherwise your device may be
damaged
• disconnect cables while operating
• expose the product to temperatures outside the range of 5° – 35°C while operating
