The indicator flashes quickly when a CD/DVD is inserted. The indicator goes out when the drive is
ready for reading.
i
If the display does not go out after you have inserted a CD/DVD but glows constantly
although the CD/DVD is not accessed, the CD/DVD is probably damaged or dirty.
The indicator lights up when the DVD drive is accessed. The indicator flashes slowly while audio CD
playback.
Insert/Eject button
The insert/eject button is used primarily for opening and closing the drive tray. To do this you must
press the button briefly (for less than 1 second).
You can also use the insert/eject button to reduce the rotation speed if vibrations occur when you
use a CD. To do this you must hold the insert/eject button down for at least 2 seconds. The drive
now reduces speed. As soon as the drive tray is opened and closed again (for example when
replacing the CD), the drive operates at normal speed again.
