Activating SIM PIN

Before you start, you will need to know your SIM PIN. This is

provided with your SIM card.
To activate the SIM PIN:

1. From the idle screen, press the

Send/OK key

5. Enter your SIM PIN, then press the

Send/OK key

Deactivating SIM PIN

To deactivate the SIM PIN:

1. From the idle screen, press the

WARNING:

If you fail to enter the correct PIN for your SIM

card three consecutive times, you will need to contact your

service provider to obtain the PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).

Do not attempt to guess the PUK as your SIM card will be

rendered permanently inoperative after ten consecutive

unsuccessful attempts.
