Setting the off-timer (sleep timer)
With the off-timer, you can set the TV to turn off automatically after a pre-
determined period of time (up to 3 hours, in 10 minute increments).

Press
TIMER
to select the OFF TIMER
mode.

(0-9) to enter
the length of time you want the TV to stay
on after each number position starts to blink.
Example
:
120 minutes
Press 1 and 2.

to start the timer.
The display color will change from purple to
blue, and then the display will disappear.
To cancel the setting
Press
POWER
twice, once to turn the TV off and once to turn it on again.
Notes:

The timer can also be set through the Setup menu.
●
If you want to see how much time remains before the shut-off time, press
TIMER
once.
The remaining time will be displayed. To erase the display, press
TIMER
again.
Displaying the XDS information
Press
XDS
to display the following XDS
(Extended Data Service) information for
about 10 seconds.
1. Network name
2. Program name
3. Program type
4. Time in show
5. Program length
Some of the above information may not be displayed.
If the TV program you are watching does not include the XDS
information
“NO XDS INFORMATION” will be displayed instead for about 10 seconds
when you press
