VIDEO 1 IN
— Composite video and analog audio inputs
plus optional S-video inputs for connecting devices with
composite video or S-video output.
Note:
Composite video and S-video cables carry only
video information; separate audio cables are required for
a complete connection.

PC/HDMI-1 (AUDIO) IN
— These analog audio inputs
are shared between PC IN (item 6 on next page) and
HDMI (DVI) IN (item 8 on next page). Their use can be
configured in the
Setup
menu (

page 51).

HD-1 IN
and
ColorStream
®
HD-2 IN
— Two sets of ColorStream
®
high-definition component
video inputs (with analog stereo audio inputs) for
connecting devices with component video output, such as
a Toshiba DVD player with ColorStream
®
.
Note:
Component video cables carry only video
information; separate audio cables are required for a
complete connection.

A/V OUT
— Standard composite video and analog audio
outputs for connecting a VCR for editing and dubbing.
When the POP double-window is open, the active window
sound is output (

page 39).
Note:
The A/V OUT terminals will output AUDIO ONLY (no
video) in the following instances:
•
When the TV's INPUT mode is HDMI, ColorStream, or
PC (

“Selecting the video input source to view,”
page 30).
•
When the MP3 Audio Player is active (

for connecting an analog amplifier with external speakers.
