Chapter 3: Using the remote control
Learning about the remote control
The buttons used for operating the TV only are described here.
For the REGZA-LINK remote control functions, see the

Note:
The error message “Not Available” may appear if you
press a key for a function that is not available.

SLEEP
accesses the sleep timer (
-
page 57).

POWER
turns the TV on and off. When the TV is on, the
green LED indicator on the TV front will be illuminated.

MODE SELECT
sets the five remote control device modes:
TV
,
CABLE/SAT
,
HD DVD
,
DVD
, and
VCR/PVR
. Press
TV
until the keypad blinks 3 times to control the TV.
The selected MODE key blinks each time any key is pressed.

can also be used to change inputs on the TV (

Channel Numbers (0–9, –/100)
directly tune
channels. The

button is used to tune digital channels
(

page 44) or to edit the Favorite List (

INPUT
selects the video input source (

FAV BROWSER
accesses the Favorites List in the
Channel Browser

MENU
accesses the main TV menu system (

ENTER
activates highlighted items in the main menu system.

THINC
accesses the THINC menu (

PAGE + / -
are used for paging up and down in channel
lists.
