Input selection, AV connections and analogue
switch-off
Settings for the INPUT and OUTPUT sockets so that the television recognises connected equipment. See page 6
for a clear view of the back connection recommendations.
Most media recorders and decoders send a signal
through the scart lead to switch the television to the
correct Input socket. Alternatively press the exter-
nal source selection button
until the desired
source is selected in
source select.
Input selection
Use the Input Selection if the television does not
switch over automatically.

2, AV-2 RGB, DTV, PC RGB / YPbPr, DVI-D,
AV-3 or AV-3 S.
To return to television mode press
again.
OUTPUT signal selection for AV-2
(Scart 2)
This enables selection of the source to output
from AV-2. For example, to record transmis-
sions in stereo from a stereo decoder - con-
nect a stereo decoder to
AV-1
and stereo me-
dia recorder to AV-2, then select
AV-1
as the
scart2 / audio out.
The signal received
through SCART 1 will output directly through
SCART 2.

= The programme selection from the digital
mode.
Analogue
switch-off
This is a digital television which is integrated to
allow the use of both digital and analogue ser-
vices. However, during the lifetime of this set
it is very likely that analogue services will be
switched off to allow for more new digital ser-
vices.
This switch-off will happen in a number of
phases, which will be advertised in your area
well in advance. It is recomended that at each
phase the television is re-tuned to ensure that
existing and new digital services can be viewed
without disruption

page).
