Alternator-Belt Tension
Service Interval:
Every 100 hours
1.
Apply 44 N (10 lb) of force to the alternator belt,
midway between the pulleys.
2.
If the deflection is not 10 mm (3/8 inch), loosen
the alternator mounting bolts (
).
