Pre-Maintenance
Procedures
Preparing for Maintenance
1. Park the machine on a level surface, press the
enable/disable switch to the D
ISENGAGE
and
position, lower the cutting units, and engage the
parking brake.
2. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait for
all moving parts to stop.
3. Wait for the engine to cool.
Opening the Hood
1. Release the 2 hood latches ( Figure 58 ).

2. Rotate open the hood.
Closing the Hood
1. Carefully rotate the hood closed ( Figure 59 ).

2. Secure the hood with the 2 hood latches.
Opening the Screen
1. Remove the ball pin from the screen latch
(
Figure 60 ).

2. Unlatch and open the screen.
Closing the Screen
1. Close and latch the screen ( Figure 61 ).
