NOTE:
It is possible to separate the gearbox cover from
the base while the gearbox is still installed on the traction
unit. The traction band, planetary assembly and reel
drive clutch shaft assembly can be removed from the
gearbox in this manner, if necessary. Service to the dif-
ferential, bushings and bearings requires removal of the
gearbox from the traction unit.
