Rotate the mower deck idler clockwise, lift up on the
belt-guide tab and remove the mower deck belt from
the clutch (Figure 103).

Remove and retain the hardware on both sides of the
deck as shown in Figure 104.

Remove the rear deck lift attachment shoulder bolt and nut.

Remove the front deck lift attachment shoulder bolt and nut.

Raise the deck struts and secure them in the up
position. Slide the deck out to the right side of the
machine.
