Installing the Guard
Parts needed for this procedure:

Lock washer
Procedure
1.
Remove the 2 Phillips screws and washers taped to the
guard (
Figure 3
).

Slide the guard onto the trimmer base as shown in
Figure 3
.

Secure the guard using 2 Phillips screws.

Installing the Edge Guard

Procedure
Insert the ends of the wire edge guard into the holes in the trimmer
housing as shown in (
