Setup
Important:
Remove and discard the protective
plastic sheet that covers the engine and any other
plastic or wrapping on the machine.
Important:
To prevent accidental starting, do not
insert the key into the electric-start ignition (if
equipped) until you are ready to start the engine.

Unfolding the Handle
No Parts Required
Procedure
WARNING
Folding or unfolding the handle improperly
can damage the cables, causing an unsafe
operating condition.
• Do not damage the cables when folding or
unfolding the handle.
• If a cable is damaged, contact an
Authorized Service Dealer.
1. Remove the handle knobs and bolts from the
machine housing (
Figure 3 ).
2. Attach the handle to the machine housing
(
Figure 3 ).

Route the cables to the outside
of the handle as you unfold the handle
