Fan Belt Adjustment
Make sure belt is properly tensioned to prevent
engine overheating and allow proper battery charging.
Check belt midway in span of belt. Also check the
belt for cracks and tears.
The fan belt should have a maximum deflection of
.25–.35 inch (7–9mm) with a 22 pound (10Kg) load
applied.
1.
Position machine on a level surface, lower the
loader arms, stop the engine, and remove key
from ignition switch.
2.
Loosen alternator mounting bolts.
3.
Adjust belt to proper tension and tighten bolts.
Engine RPM
Check and adjust engine rpm every 400 hours to
insure proper engine performance.
