Installing the Tip Switch
Preparing the Machine
1. Set the parking brake, open the hood panels, and
remove the right side panel; refer to the
Owner’s Manual
of the machine.
2. Disconnect and remove the battery and battery bracket
(
Figure 1 ).
Important:
Remove the negative terminal first.

3. Remove the 4 bolts on panel holding the electrical
terminal box (
Figure 2 ).

4. Lift the electrical terminal box and remove the engine
wiring harness (
Figure 3 ).
