ADD ENGINE OIL

Move the machine to a level surface, stop the
engine and set the parking brake. Unlatch and
open the hood (Fig. 2).

Remove the dipstick from the left front of the
engine, wipe the end with a clean rag and insert it
fully into the dipstick tube (Fig. 1). Remove the
dipstick and check the oil level. If the oil level is
low, go to step 3. If the oil level is up to the FULL
mark on the dipstick, insert the dipstick and close
and latch the hood. Continue with the pre-operat-
ing procedures.

If the oil level is low, unscrew the oil fill cap from
the top of the engine (Fig. 1). Add a small quantity
of a high-quality SAE 30 or 10W-30 detergent oil
having the American Petroleum Institute—API—
”service classification” CD and recheck the dipstick
level. Continue until the oil level is up to the
FULL mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.

IMPORTANT: Check the oil level every 5 operating
hours or daily. Change the oil after every 50 hours
operation and change the filter after every 100 hours.

Install and tighten the oil fill cap and insert the dip-
