Installing CNC Scanner/Tormach Scan CAD
3.1
Running the Set Up Wizard
Follow the directions on the screen to install the
software as shown in Figure
. This will install both
CNC Scanner and Tormach Scan CAD.
3.2
Using CNC Scanner for the first time
Depending on your specific configuration of Mach3,
you may have configure the CNC Scanner plug-ins
prior to first use. To do so, take the following steps:
1.
Start Mach3.
2.
Choose
Config
Config Plugins
from the pulldown menu ( Figure 2).
3.
Ensure that the plugin
topstools
is enabled (displays Green Check Mark next to the name). If
a Red X appears instead, click on the box to enable and switch to a Green Check Mark. See
Figure 3.
