In this case, there are four Pythagorean regimes:
1. Calculate the length of the two legs by measuring
hypotenuse and angle.
Briefly press button 5 / four times / when the hypotenuse
starts flashing.
Press button 1, measure the length of the hypotenuse (a),
and calculate the angle between the bevel and the bottom at the same
time.
The device calculates the horizontal distance (b) and the vertical height
(h).
2. Calculate the hypotenuse by measuring the length of two legs.
Briefly press button 5 five times when one leg starts flashing. Press button
1, measure the length of one leg (s).
Press button 1, measure the length of the other leg (b).
The device calculates the length of the hypotenuse (x).
3. Press button 5 six times until one side of the right triangle flashes.
Press button 1, measure the length of one side (s).
Press button 1, measure the length of the center line (b).
Press button 1, measure the length of the other side (c).
The device calculates the length of the leg in a solid line (x).
4. Press button 5 seven times until the hypotenuse starts
flashes on the screen.
Press button 1, measure the length of one hypotenuse (a).
Press button 1, measure the length of another hypotenuse (b).
Press button 1, measure the length of one leg (c).
The device calculates the length of the leg in a solid line (x).
The legs must be shorter than the hypotenuse, otherwise an error will
appear: “Err” is displayed on the screen. To ensure accuracy, please make
sure that all measurements are started from the same point.
Addition subtraction:
The device can be used to add length and subtract. Press button 6 or 2 to
select the function after receiving the length measurement result.
Press button 6, “+” appears in the main display area to enter the cumu-
lation mode. The value of the last measurement and the result of the
cumulation will be displayed on the screen.
Press button 2, “-” appears in the main display area to enter regression
mode. The value of the last measurement and the result of the cumulation
will be displayed on the screen.
Not only can the length be calculated by addition and subtraction, but the
area and volume can also be calculated. Take an area as a sample:
Cumulative area function: Measure the first area as
is shown in PIC1. Then press button 6 and measure the second area
