Measuring depth (fig. 4)
– Slide the depth measurement rod into the hole and
position the guide perpendicular to reference surface of
the measurement.
Differential measurements (using display zero
adjustment, fig. 5)
– Used for e.g. deviation from a standard, zeroing at a
calibration dimension.
– To make measurement of an object referenced to a
standard, press „ABS/0” button (fig. 1/J) to change mode
of operation (it is shown when „INC” disappears from the
top of the display); press standard against the jaws and
press „ORIGIN” button (fig. 1/M) to set zero point. Each
consecutive measurement will show deviation from the
origin. To reactivate measurement mode, press the „ABS/0”
button („INC” at the top of the display will appear).
MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the caliper dry and clean (any fluid may damage the
slider).
2. Measurement jaws should be delicately wiped with a
cloth. Never use petrol, acetone or any other organic li-
quid.
3. To save power when the calliper is not used for some time,
switch it off with the OFF button (fig. 1/L).
4. Except for the above, all other rules of operation for a stan-
dard caliper apply.
