OPERATION PROCEDURE

INCLINED ILLUMINATION

Press to unlock the inclination lever and pull.
The illumination unit is inclined for inclined illumination up to 20

°

in 5

°

steps.

REFLECTION MIRROR

For this instrument, a battledore mirror and a square mirror are available. For normal observation,
the battledore mirror is used.
However, if the arm angle scale, which represents the angle formed by the illumination arm and
microscope arm, reads approx. 3

°

to 10

°

and the observation light flux is disturbed by the battledore

mirror, then the square mirror should be used.
The square mirror is to be used when the arm angle is opened to more than 10

°

.

NOTE

This function is used for observing a horizontal cross section, and for corner
angle and fundus observation.

NOTE

The square mirror is standard accessory.
