Press the keys at the base to change the base ring
volume level between 1 and 3. During the setting you will hear the
actual ring volume.
You can also turn the base ringer off by pressing the ringer off key
during ringing or standby. The ringer off LED will lit.

Some functions are only available if you know the PIN code for the
base station.
The PIN code comprises 4 digits and the default code is '0000'.
Proceed as follows to change the preset PIN code or to enter a
new PIN code. The base PIN code is also needed to enter the
answering machine remote operation mode (see “11.12 Remote
operation”):
