5.4 Usage
If it is no longer possible to use the product safely, discontinue use and prevent unauthorised
use. DO NOT attempt to repair the product yourself. Safe use can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
– Shows visible signs of damage (e.g. if the temples are damaged),
– is no longer working properly,
– has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
– has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
To prevent eye damage, do not use the product as a replacement for glasses or contact
lenses. The product is only intended for magnifying small objects and not as a medical
visual aid.
Do not point the LEDs in your eyes or in the eyes of other people, as this may cause eye
damage or dangerous glare.
Never use the lenses to look directly into bright light sources. Risk of serious eye damage!
Always cover the lenses when not in use. Direct sunlight can cause a fire, as each lens
acts like a burning glass.
5.5 LiPo battery
The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced.
Never damage the battery. Damaging the casing of a rechargeable battery may cause it to
explode or catch fire! Unlike conventional batteries/rechargeable batteries (e.g. AA or AAA
batteries), the casing of the Li-Po rechargeable battery is not made of a thin metal sheet,
and consists only of a sensitive plastic film.
Never short-circuit the contacts/connections of the battery. Do not throw the battery or the
product into fire. Risk of fire and explosion!
Charge the battery regularly, even if you are not using the product. The rechargeable
battery is designed so that it does not need to be discharged before it can be charged.
Do leave the battery unattended when it is charging.
When charging, place the product on a heat-resistant surface. It is normal for a certain
amount of heat to be generated during charging.
5.6 LED light
Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!

1 Intended use
This product is designed to magnify and illuminate small objects during precise work. The
product can be used on its own, over glasses or over contact lenses. It is intended exclusively
for magnifying at small distances and is not intended for magnifying at long distances. The
correct way to wear the magnifying glasses and the correct object and lens distance are
described in these operating instructions. Follow these instructions to avoid eye damage and
to achieve the desired magnification function.
Using the product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product.
Improper use can cause injuries, damage to property or other hazards.
This product complies with statutory, national and European regulations. For safety and
approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify the product.
Read the operating instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product
