c) Adjusting the torque
• Unscrew the locking screw on the toothed wheel
(3)
completely.
• The crimp pliers must not be pressed together and the handles must be fully open.
• Move the toothed wheel in the “-” direction to decrease the torque or in the “+” direction to
increase the torque.
• Secure the toothed wheel
(3)
with the screw that you unscrewed at the beginning (under
the toothed wheel there are three threads (as circled in the image below) to enable the
adjustment of the torque in a total of 12 stages).
d)
Releasing the automatic lock via the release level
• In the event of incorrect crimping, the automatic lock of the crimp pliers can be released by
pushing the release lever
(2)
toward the front (inserts).
• The handles can then be moved apart so that you can remove the faulty crimp-type
connector.
Care and cleaning
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol, or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and functioning of the product.
•
Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
