10. Operation
Always use the protective guard when cutting or grinding. Use discs only for their intended purpose. For
example, never grind using the side of a cutting disc. Cutting discs are designed to only be used at the
edge. Otherwise it is very likely to result in breakage.
After attaching the disc, allow the appliance to idle for about a minute to test the disc. Do not stand or allow
other people close by to stand near the rotating disc. Damaged discs usually break during this test phase.
If you notice strong vibrations, sparks or unstable operation during the test run, switch off the appliance
immediately and replace the disc.

• When rough grinding material, it is recommended
to position the grinding disc at an angle of between
0° and 40° to the workpiece surface.
• Use steady movements to guide the disc back and
forth over the workpiece.
When cutting, always keep the disc perpendicular to the
cutting surface.
