c) Selecting the channel
Briefly press the “MENU/ENTER” button to switch between the two channels. The adjustable channel (or the model
number of the connected soldering iron or soldering tweezers) will be highlighted in white on the display. You can then
set the temperature for the selected channel manually or by using a quick selection button (see following sections).
d) Manually setting the temperature
First, select one of the two channels (see section 9c).
Use the “
” button to decrease the temperature value and the “
” button to increase the value. Hold down the
button to adjust the value more quickly.
In the channel menu you can set an upper and lower limit for the temperature. You can also enable the
temperature lock.
e) Setting the temperature using the quick selection buttons
• First, select one of the two channels (see section 9c).
• Press quick selection button 1, 2 or 3 to enable the corresponding temperature setting shown on the display.
The default settings can be changed via the functions menu to suit your needs.
Default setting for quick selection button “1”: 200 °C
Default setting for quick selection button “2”: 300 °C
Default setting for quick selection button “3”: 400 °C
f) Switching a channel on/off
The soldering station has two separate channels to enable the simultaneous use of the soldering iron and soldering
tweezers. This allows you to quickly switch between the soldering iron and the soldering tweezers when you are
soldering. It also enables two people to use the soldering station at the same time.
If only one channel is required, the unused channel can be switched off. This helps to save energy and prolong the
lifespan of the soldering tip.

Switching channel 1 on/off
Hold down the quick selection button “1” to switch channel 1 on/off. When the
channel is switched off, “OFF” is displayed at the top of the display. Dashes are
displayed in place of the current temperature (“- - -”).

Hold down the quick selection button “3” to switch channel 2 on/off. When the
channel is switched off, “OFF” is displayed at the top of the display. Dashes are
displayed in place of the current temperature (“- - -”).
