Operation

a) Connect Gas Cartridge to Torch

•  The torch has a threaded inlet valve

(4)

which supports standard EN 417 7/16” propane and MAPP gas

cartridges.

•  To attach a gas cartridge to the torch, screw the gas outlet valve into the threaded inlet valve

(4)

.

•  Turn the cartridge clockwise to tighten it in place.

 until it “clicks” into place.

•  Press the nozzle release button

(7)

 to remove it.

c) Ignition

  Lock the trigger safety switch

(3)

 when not in use.

Begin with the gas volume regulator

(5)

 set at the minimum “

-

” position by turning it all the way

clockwise.

Keep the cartridge upright while using. Avoid tilting or shaking!

After use do not place the heated elements against or near flammable materials.

•  Release the trigger safety switch

(3)

.

•  Squeeze the trigger

(2)

to ignite the gas, release the trigger

(2)

 to stop the flame.

•

If the gas does not ignite, you may need to further increase the flow of gas by turning the gas volume

regulator

(5)

 anti-clockwise “

+

”.

•  Slowly increase in the anti-clockwise direction “

+

” to increase the flame as required.

d) Continuous Flame

•  With the trigger

(2)

until it “clicks”, then release it. This cuts of the gas flow causing

the flame to burn out.
