Your Tommy Bahama Ceiling Fan is equipped with a
Remote Control system consisting of a hand-held
transmitter and a receiver which was previously installed in
Section 8.
The remote control transmitter is powered by a 9-volt
alkaline battery. To prevent possible damage if the battery
should leak, be sure to remove the battery when the control
is not to be used for an extended period of time.
Code switches in the transmitter may be set in 16 different
positions. If your fan and light turn on and off without
using your control, you may be getting interference from
other remote units such as garage door openers, car alarms
or security systems. To remedy this situation, simply
change the code switches in your transmitter to a new
setting. Follow the programming instructions 12.2 any
time the code switches are changed to pair the transmitter
with the receiver.
