1. REMOVING THE STOCK TURBOCHARGER
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Then, remove the turbocharger and surrounding components.
■ For further details, please refer to the official servicing manual.
■ Take care not to damage the components/parts as some of these will be reused later.
■ Ensure you seal all openings with tape to prevent debris from entering the system.
1-1. PREPARATION
CYLINDER BLOCK
① Drain the engine oil/coolant.
② Remove the engine under cover and front exhaust pipe
ENGINE BAY
In order to remove the turbocharger, the following items will need to be removed first:
・Top engine cover ・Strut bar ・Suction hose/Turbo inlet
・Turbocharger air inlet fitting
・Turbocharger air outlet fitting
・Upper intercooler hose
・Heat shield(on both the bulk head and exhaust manifold)

Remove the stock turbo and the following components as detailed in the official servicing manual.
・Heat shield ・Bracket ・Water hose (IN/OUT) ・Oil pipe (IN/OUT)
・Outlet pipe ・Exhaust manifold
