Riser Recliner with Stand-Up Assist
If your recliner includes stand-up assist, the operating controls are located in the control unit (Illus. 3).
If you purchased a swivel recliner, the recliner will lock in place automatically for safety reasons when it is in stand-up
mode. You will not be able to swivel your recliner. When the recliner is returned to neutral mode, the chair unlocks
automatically. This chair has been equipped with an operating panel in the front of the left armrest (Illus. 3).
Depending on the model, operating controls may also be located in the seat. The front two buttons operate footrest
and stand-up assist, and the back two buttons operate the backrest. Recliners with stand-up assist include a
transformer. Attach the cable (included) to the transformer, and connect it to the underside of the recliner (Illus. 4). To
prevent the cable from twisting around the recliner, the recliner is fitted with a lock so that it cannot turn on its axle.

Adjustable headrest (illus. 5)
Your recliner is also provided with an adjustable headrest, which you can pull towards you with both hands when
sitting in the chair. The headrest position is stepless, and when you no longer wish to use it you simply push it back
with both hands. Using the headrest will slightly stretch the material on the rear of the chair. This is normal and
unavoidable.
