Equalizer LED indicator

Allows  a d j u s t m e n t  of f r e q u e n c y  response by  u s i n g  t h e EQ  sliders 

,  b a n d w i d t h    c o n t r o l s  

and  C e n t r e

frequency controls 

while the LED remains lit. The frequency response is flat regardless of t h e p o s i t i o n

of the EQ sliders when the LED is e x t i n g u i s h e d .  Select  e i t h e r  of  t h e  f r e q u e n c y modes w i t h  t h e e q u a l i z e r
switch

Peak LED indicator

Lights when the  o u t p u t  exceeds 6dB before a clipping level is reached.  For m i n i m u m  noise,  a d j u s t  t h e
input controls 

so the LED can come on occasionally. When  t h e LED s t i l l lights up even  if t h e i n p u t  level

control is  f u l l y  t u r n e d to "-12", decrease the  o u t p u t level of  e q u i p m e n t connected to the  r e a r - m o u n t e d

input XLR connector or j a c k

Highpass  filter switch

A t t e n u a t e s  the f r e q u e n c y c o m p o n e n t  lower  t h a n 40Hz at the r a t e  of 12dB  per octave in  the IN position.

Lowpass  filter switch

A t t e n u a t e s  the  f r e q u e n c y  c o m p o n e n t  higher t h a n  12kHz at  t h e r a t e of 12dB per octave when IN.

Equalizer switch

Placing t h e switch in the IN p o s i t i o n  causes the equalizer LED i n d i c a t o r 

to  t u r n  on,  and  provides t h e

frequency  response  a d j u s t e d  w i t h  t h e EQ  sliders , 

b a n d w i d t h  controls and 

c e n t r e  f r e q u e n c y

controls 

. With the switch  in  the OUT position,  t h e equalizer LED goes  out and t h e f r e q u e n c y response

is flat j u s t  as  t h e  EQ  sliders 

allow for a  f l a t  response when set  to "0".

Input level control

Adjusts the input level w i t h i n  range of -12dB to +12dB. A d j u s t i n g  the control  so the peak  LED i n d i c a t o r

may occasionally light up reduces noise generated in the E 111 and E 112 equalizers. When  the peak

level of equipment  connected  to the  rear-mounted  input XLR connector or j a c k

EQ sliders

Provide  12dB of boost or c u t  at each of the 10 frequencies, which are c e n t r e d  at  ISO  1  o c t a v e i n c r e m e n t s

from 31.5 to 16 kHz.

Bandwidth controls

Adjust a bandwidth.  ("Q" is a d j u s t a b l e w i t h i n  range of 1.5  t o 8.)

Centre frequency controls

Adjust  the  centre f r e q u e n c y w i t h i n range of 1  octave.
