Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!
■
Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before cleaning the device! Wait until
the motor has come to a standstill.
■
Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the motor unit, the
cable and the plug cannot fall into water or become wet.
■
The blades are sharp! Be careful when handling the blades in order to prevent any
cuts. Only ever grip the plastic parts.
■
After every use, thoroughly clean the device and accessories immediately with warm
water and a little mild detergent to prevent the formation of germs. Do not allow food
residues to dry on.
■
Do
not
clean the motor unit in the dishwasher!
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
• Detach the motor unit (

) from the protective lid (

).
• Turn the protective lid (

) anticlockwise and remove it from the collecting container (

).
• Pull the motor shaft (

) off the receptacle for the motor shaft (

).
• If necessary, carefully detach the stirring insert (

) from the motor shaft (

).
• Wipe down the motor unit (

) with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.
• Clean all other accessory parts with clear, hot water and a little mild detergent or in
the dishwasher.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before assembling the device and / or putting it away
for storage.
• Store the device and all accessory parts in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to
children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
If the device will not switch on, check the following:
• Is the motor unit (

) seated correctly on the protective lid (

) and therefore on the
motor shaft (

)?
• Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Has the fuse of the mains connection been activated?
