Use
CAUTION!
■
The blades are sharp! Be careful when handling the blades in order to prevent any
cuts. Only ever grip the plastic parts.
■
Always remove the mains plug from the plug socket before changing accessories.
■
Make sure that the device remains stable during operation.
■
The device must not be moved or transported while it is switched on.
■
Do not use the device for longer than 1 minute without interruption to prevent over-
heating. Allow the device to cool down for a short time before using it again.
1. Place the collecting container (

) on a dry, even and
fi
rm surface.
2. Place the motor shaft (

) with blades (
10
) onto the receptacle for the motor shaft (

).
Make sure that it
fi
ts correctly.
Use the stirring insert (
9
) for stirring liquids or whipping cream:
–
Place the stirring insert (
9
) onto the motor shaft (
8
) so that the blades (
10
) and
the stirring insert (
9
) are parallel to one another.
–
Make sure that both parts mesh together. Slide the stirring insert (
9
) all the
way to the bottom so that it covers the blades (
10
).
3. Pour the food to be chopped up / blended into the collecting container (
5
).
Make sure you do not over
fi
ll it!
Do not pour in any more than 300 – 400 ml of food-
stuffs or any more than 200 ml of liquids.
4. Place the protective lid (

) onto the collecting container (
5
) so that the locking lugs on
the protective lid
fi
t in the latches (

) on the collecting container (
5
).
5. Twist the protective lid (
3
) clockwise to secure it in place.
6. Connect the device to a plug socket that is properly installed and matches the
technical data of the device (see the "Technical Data" chapter).
7. Place the motor unit (

) on the protective lid (

).
8. Press the motor unit (
2
) down and hold it down, the motor shaft (
8
) will rotate and the
blades (
10
) will chop up or the stirring insert (
9
) will mix together the food.
To achieve a higher rotational speed for a short time, e.g. to chop up hard food-
stuffs such as ice cubes, use the
TURBO
: Also press the
TURBO
switch (
1
) with
brief interruptions while pressing down the motor unit (
2
).
9. Let go of the motor unit (
2
) once the food has been fully chopped up or stirred together.
10. If the device is no longer going to be used, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket
and place the motor unit (
2
) to one side.
11. Take off the protective lid (
3
) and remove the food from the collecting container (
5
).
CAUTION! Do not reach into the blades (10) as you do this!
