Mounting Flexible Self-Locking Profile
Flexible Self-Locking Profile is uniquely
suited for installation applications desiring a
continuously curved shape.
The special construction allows for two-way
horizontal bending to achieve almost curving
structure for FloppyFlex installation.
Flexible profile installation is a little more
complex than the rigid variations.
Follow these installation instructions:

Step 1
: Draw the desired shape on the
installation surface using a suitable
marking utensil
.
This can be sketched
free-form by hand or can be traced
from a scale printout of the design.
Place a mark signifying the beginning
of the FloppyFlex assembly to refer
back to later. Be sure to plan where the
power feed input will begin and
determine any cable management
considerations.

Step 2
: Position the profile so that the
input connector of the FloppyFlex
assembly is at least 10 mm away from
the end of the profile piece.
Hold profile in place and mark the first
screw position. Drill pilot hole if
necessary and install the first screw.

Step 3
: Continue shaping the profile
along the outline, marking screw
positions, and drilling pilot holes if
needed.
Using cylindrical objects (like cans,
etc.) can assist in the process of
shaping the profile.
Install the remaining screws in
sequence along the profile.

Step 4
: The serrated tape located on
both inner walls of the flexible profile
will most likely move and adjust
according to the final shape
.
If necessary, adjust the tape and
remove any extra that protrudes from
both ends of the profile.

Step 5
: Installation is now complete.
Clean visible markings as necessary.
