Disassembling/Reassembling the Valve Plug & Stem
After pulling out the valve plug, remove the loosened guide bushing, stuffing box V-
ring packing, washer and coil spring.

wing-blades during
reassembly; improper
orientation can result in
noise or erosion of the valve
plug and/or valve seat
NOTE: Valve reassembly orientation for Cv values of 30 or greater.
(When the Cv value is 20 or less, there is no designated
reassembly orientation.)
