Guard
Operation
The guard (11) protects the operator against thrown objects during operation.
It is equipped with a knife (11b) that cuts the trimming line (13d) (Fig. 13).

NOTE:
Always remove knife protection (11d) before use.
Switching on/off
1. Hold the product with one hand at the auxiliary handle (15) and with the other
at the main handle (1).
2. Press the lock-off button (2) and hold it in position (Fig. 14, step 1).
3. Squeeze the on/off switch (3) to switch the product on (Fig. 14, step 2).
Release the lock-off button afterwards.
4. Release the on/off switch (3) to switch the product off.
WARNING!
Never attempt to lock the on/off switch (3) in its ON position!
