WARNING!
Always ensure that the unlock button (7) snaps into place
after adjusting the main handle in one of the end positions! Never
adjust to an intermediate position!
Adjust the main handle (1) to either 0° for trimming or 90° / 180° for edging.
1. Slide the unlock button (7) downward and turn the main handle (1) clockwise
while holding lower pole (9) to adjust the trimmer head (13) to an angle of
90° or 180° (Fig. 7). Release the unlock button (7) and keep turning the main
handle (1) until it locks in place. Ensure the unlock button (7) snaps into place.
2. Slide the unlock button (7) downward and turn the main handle (1)
anticlockwise while holding lower pole (9) to adjust the trimmer head (13) to
an angle of 0° (Fig. 8, A, B). Release the unlock button (7) and keep turning
the main handle (1) until it locks in place. Ensure the unlock button (7) snaps
into place.
