AUTO CONTROLS
The no stress unit controls the feed rate of the material going into the chipping chamber. If the engine
speed is below the predetermined level the Speed Control Unit will not allow the feed rollers to work
in either forward or reverse until the rotor speed rises above the predetermined level, at which point
the feed rollers will start turning without warning.
There are two ways of stopping the TW 190H chipper in the event of an emergency.
STOPPING THE ROLLERS
Pushing the red button on the roller control box will stop the rollers immediately. This action will not
allow any further material to be fed in until it is reset. The button will stay in the 'pushed in' position.
To reset the button and continue working the button must be pulled out.
STOPPING THE ENGINE
Should the entire machine need to be stopped in an emergency the red button on top of the engine
cover can be activated. This will immediately stop the rollers and kill the fuel supply to the engine.
The engine will come to a halt in the shortest possible time. The engine cannot be restarted until the
button is pulled out.
