Signals from some graphics cards may not lock properly. If the results are
unsatisfactory, adjust the clock and clock phase manually.
If the set is cold, there may be a small ‘flicker’ when first switched on. This is
normal, there is nothing wrong with the equipment.
Some red, green and blue dot effects may appear. This is caused by aliasing and
has no impact on the equipment.
Contrast – adjusts the balance between
light and dark areas of the picture.
Brightness – makes the picture darker
or brighter as preferred.
Temperature – adjusts the ‘warmth’ of
the image colour (colour temperature).
Clock – allows adjustment to minimise
any vertical bars or stripes visible on the
screen background. The horizontal
screen size will also change.
Phase – allows the removal of any
horizontal noise. The images of
characters can also be sharpened.
ARC (Aspect Ratio Control) – Selects a
screen mode. 4:3 or 16:9
