Disarm the X3 Siren entering the 4-digit code 1-2-3-4 on the keypad.
Before installing the X3 siren you may want to change the preset 4-digit code
into your own personal 4-digit code. Please refer to the sec on "Changing
the 4-digit code" in this manual. Now, mount the X3 Siren and window sensors
following the instruc ons in the manual.
How to mount the X3 alarm unit
Mount the X3 alarm unit with the included s cky pads or the two included
screws. First, install the back plate to the wall. Posi on the X3 unit onto the
back plate and secure it to the backplate with the screw at the bo om.
The X3 alarm unit is always switched on - either in deac vated or in ac vated
mode.
The X3 alarm unit features 2 different alarm modes. These are a “Home” mode
and an “Away” mode. The 2 modes can be selected with the Home/Away bu on.
Ac va ng the system in “Home” mode
Slide the Home/Away bu on into the “Home” posi on ( ) and press the
Ac va on-bu on. You will hear one beep and the zone LEDs will flash once.
Ac va on indicator light
The X3 features an indicator light when the unit is ac vated. The LED of zone 4
flashes every 5 seconds to indicate the ac vated status.
To switch off the indicator light , whilst in ac vated mode, press the ( )
bu on for 5 seconds. You will hear one beep, and the indicator light is switched
off. To switch on the indicator light again, repeat the above-described procedure.
Disarming the system in “Home” mode
The system can only be deac vated by using your personal 4-digit passcode.
Enter your 4-digit passcode. You will hear 2 beeps and the zone LEDs will flash
twice as a confirma on of deac va on.
Deac va ng the system in “Away” mode
The system can only be deac vated by using your personal 4-digit passcode.
When you open the door the front door sensor will trigger a silent alarm on
the X3 unit which is indicated by beeps and the blinking of the zone LED where
the front door sensor is connected to.
You now have 15 seconds to deac vate
the X3 unit
by entering your personal 4-digit passcode. You will hear 2 beeps
and the zone LEDs will flash twice as a confirma on of deac va on. If no 4-digit
passcode or the wrong 4-digit passcode is entered there will be a loud siren
alarm a er the 15 seconds of disarm delay.

1. The “Home” mode should be used when you are home. If a sen sor
triggers an alarm in the “Home” alarm mode the siren will sound immediately.
2. If you arm the system in the “Away” mode there will be a delay of 20
seconds before the system is ac vated. This delay allows you to leave your
home and close the door without triggering an alarm. On you return you will
have 15 seconds delay to deac vate the system with your personal 4-digit
code. The deac va on delay is indicated by beeps.
Slide the bu on into the “Away” posi on ( ). The ac va on countdown of 20
seconds will start immediately. This is indicated by a blinking of the zone LEDs.
Please use the 20 seconds to leave your home and close the door. There will be
one beep a er the 20 seconds countdown to indicate that the X3 is now ac vated.
