Smoothie
1/ Remove the blade for making purees and blended food by turning the fl ange, located
beneath the bowl, to the right.
2/ Position the smoothie blade.
3/ Install the fl ange beneath the bowl and swivel it to the left to lock it in place.
4/ Place the food in small cubes directly into the cooking bowl, along with all the other
ingredients recommended in the selected recipe.
5/ Close the bowl lid.
6/ Place the bowl on the base and lock into place.
7/ Plug in the appliance.
8/ Turn the blend button to the right or left for approximately ten seconds.
9/ Repeat the previous stage until the required consistency has been obtained.
10/ Unscrew the bowl using the handle.
11/ Open the bowl lid and remove the smoothie obtained. The spatula may be used to
scrape the bowl.
12/ Unplug the appliance.
13/ The blade can be removed by turning the fl ange located beneath the bowl to the
right.
14 / To position the blade again, install the blade with the seal positioned the right way
up (fl ared side downwards) in the bowl, place the fl ange beneath the bowl and swivel it
to the left to lock it in place.
CLEANING AND CARE
Clean the appliance after each use.
Always unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool before cleaning.
Never immerse the motor unit in water.
The bowl, reservoir plug, fl ange, seal, blades, cooking baskets, cooking bowl, bowl lid
and spatula may be washed with a sponge in soapy water or in the dishwasher.
Wash all blades with care: they are very sharp.
Do not use abrasive products. Never pour bleach or chemical sterilising solutions/
tablets into the appliance.
If necessary, use a damp cloth to clean the motor unit.
