1. Remove the three Allen screws and remove the clamp and handle. See Figure 4-8.
Adjustable Height Push Handles
Note:
Adjustable Height Push Handles should only be used on aluminum backrests.
Mounting
Tools Needed:

3/16” Allen Wrench
1. See Figure 4-9 for the correct location to mount the Adjustable Height Push Handles.
2. Assemble the two halves of the clamp around the rigidizer bar. See Figure 4-10.
3. Insert the four Allen screws into the two halves of the clamp and securely tighten.
4. Insert the push handle through the clamp until the handle is at the desired height and securely tighten the quick
release cam lock.
Note:
The quick release cam lock enables the user to easily disengage and engage the clamp for purposes of
repositioning or removing the push handles.

WARNING
Your assistant or attendant should NEVER attempt to lift a wheelchair up a curb, step or light of stairs by lifting on
any removable (detachable) parts, such as Adjustable Height Push Handles. Similarly, your assistant or attendant
should NEVER attempt to lower a wheelchair down a curb, step or light or stairs by holding onto any removable
(detachable) parts, such as the Adjustable Height Push Handles.
If you ignore this Warning, the removable parts,
such as the Adjustable Height Push Handles, could detach from the wheelchair causing you to fall, tip over or lose
control of the wheelchair and seriously injure yourself or others or damage the wheelchair.
