Keep mains adapter from water!
Operation in humid environment may cause overheat, fire or
electric shock!
To avoid electric shocks do not touch the plug-in charging
adapter with wet hands.
Ensure that the plug-in adapter is operated with correct voltage
(see description on mains adapter). Maximum charging voltage
is Um = 28 VDC
must not be exceeded! Charging times over
24 hours may shorten the lifetime of the battery.
Do not charge the battery close to a heating or in direct solar
irradiation. Charging should be performed in a temperature
range between 5 °C and 40 °C.
The battery will slowly discharge when unused. Please charge
battery before use.
The battery will warm up while being charged. This is not a
malfunction.
When the gauge is not used for a longer time period (over a
month), the battery will not obtain full performance. This is
characteristic for rechargeable batteries and no malfunction.
Inside the battery chemical processes exist, which may result
in varying performance even in the specified temperature
range. This is no malfunction.
The internal battery can be recharged approx. 1000 times. With
increasing age the capacity of the battery will decrease, until
finally recharging becomes impossible. The battery can then be
replaced in a small repair by the manufacturer.
