3 Installation
3.1 Notes for Installation
Unauthorized modifications or conversions of the instrument are
not allowed!
Dirt and damage, especially at the vacuum flange, on the elec-
tronics or connectors, have an adverse effect on the function of
this vacuum component.
Please take account of the necessary instructions with regard to
cleanliness and damage prevention when using electrical and
vacuum components.
3.2 Assembly
The transducer must be disconnected from voltage supply before
detaching the electronics unit!
Make sure that no moisture or dust can intrude the electronics
unit!
When a sensor is replaced it first synchronises with the trans-
ducer CPU. As a result all sensor parameters are set to default
values: gas correction factors to 1, setpoint1 to 10mbar, set-
point2 to 11mbar, mode sensor transition to 1, display unit to
"mbar".
