 AM / FM Selector (EU / UK Selector)

This switch allows you to select the operating mode AM or FM, in both TX and RX  (if the selected frequency

 

band allows it), unless the radio is set to the UK frequency band - then this switch changes the operating band

 

from the UK 40 FM channels to the EU (CE) 40 FM channels.

CH9 / CH19 Selector

This 3-position switch allows you to select the emergency channels CH9 and CH19 in the programmed

 

frequency band. If the switch is set to its centre position, the radio will operate on the normal selected channel.

TX and ASQ LED

This two-colour indicator is red or green. When radio is in TX mode it is red, when ASQ (see page 4) is

 

activated it is green.

RX /TX Signal Meter

4-bar LED display to indicate the strength of the received signal, or the power of the outgoing signal. 

11.  DISPLAY

The bright digital LED display shows the channel number.

12. ANTENNA Connector

Antenna connector. Refer to the section INSTALLATION OF THE ANTENNA (Page 5).

13. 13.8VDC POWER CORD

13.8VDC power cord input.

14. EXT (External Speaker) Jack

This jack is for connecting an external speaker (optional).
