If riding in traffic:
•
Be predictable. Ride so that
drivers can see you and
predict your movements.
•
Be alert. Ride defensively and
expect the unexpected.
•
Ask your dealer about bicycle
safety classes or a good book
on bicycle traffic safety.
BATTERY WARNING!
The Traveler Light is powered by
a rechargeable Lithium Polymer
battery. These batteries
are used in many electronic
devices, and they can serve
you well, but if mishandled
they can start fires, cause
burns, or even explode!
•
Do not attempt to open/
disassemble the light mount
or light body – there are no
serviceable parts inside.
•
Do not attempt to remove/
replace the battery.
•
Do not expose the light or
battery to excessively high or
low temperatures
[below 0°C
(32°F) or above 40°C (104°F)]
•
Do not submerge the light
mount or light body. If
either of these become
wet/damp, place them in a
dry place with moving air.
Allow moisture to evaporate
before resuming use.
•
Do not burn, puncture,
dismantle or damage the
battery; a damaged battery
can explode, start a fire, or
release toxic materials.
•
If your rechargeable battery
is damaged or ceases to
work, do not disassemble or
damage it; take it immediately
to a battery recycling or
disposal facility in accordance
with current local regulations.
Do not throw it in the
trash. In the US, recycling
facilities can be located
at www.call2recycle.org
•
If the rechargeable battery
leaks any liquid, avoid any
contact, and see a doctor
if any contact occurs.
