2.2.5  Selecting a TEC module for temperature protection 

If the laser diodes should be operated only in a specific temperature range (window) 
you can use the temperature window function of a TED 8xxx module.  
 

 

(Refer to manual of the TED8xxx) 
 
The TED8xxx must be assigned to the MLC8xxx as described here. Two steps are 
necessary: 

  

First

 the parameter  

 

Twin slot =  

 
must be set to the slot number of the desired TED8xxx. 
(If only one TED8xxx is inserted, the slot number is recognized automatically) 
 
 

 
2.2.6  Activating the temperature protection

 the temperature protection must be switched ON:
