GCM001 Galvo Cage System Adapter
Chapter 2 Installation
1) Unpack the cage system adapter and check that all the parts are present.

2) Loosen the pinch bolts on the existing mount, and remove the motor/mirror assembly, taking care not to touch the mirror
surface.
3) Once removed, check that the thermal insulation material is undamaged. Damaged material should be replaced.

4) Place the cage adapter body on the worksurface as shown opposite, with the open face (base) uppermost. Insert the motor
assembly with the smallest mirror
(X-axis) into the upper clamp - see Fig 1.3.
Caution. Ensure that the thermal insulation is fitted. The clamp pinch bolts will not tighten sufficiently without this
material.
Gently twist the motor body as it is pushed into the clamp, taking care not to damage the thermal insulation material.
